Limelight IPL (or Intense Pulsed Light) delivers a non-invasive light treatment that can be customised for different skin tones and conditions resulting in exceptionally effective skin rejuvenation with minimal discomfort and 1-2 days of light sunburn puffy downtime which can be managed well by wearing makeup or tinted sunscreen directly after.
IPL is a gentle form of light therapy working on the same principle as lasers, where light energy is absorbed into specific target cells with colour in the skin (ie browns / reds). That light energy is then converted to heat and causes selective destruction and so removal of pigmented or red, or damaged skin cells. IPL also works to generally rejuvenate the skin gently.
Limelight IPL may help improve the appearance of:
Freckles, pigmentation and age marks over face, neck, hands and arms, legs
Vascular lesions, telangiectasis, broken facial capillaries, rosacea
